Please Note: Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the deadline date for posters to be returned to our office is now May 15th!
This year, fourth and fifth grade students from Goodridge Public School and St. Bernard's School took part in the 2020 Poster Contest competition entitled: "Where Would We BEE Without Pollinators?".
They listened to a presentation about pollinators and now understand why it is so important to protect the bee colonies. Without these pollinators, our food supply would be gravely diminished.
Posters created are judged on their conservation message, visual effectiveness, originality, and universal appeal. The top three individual winners and top mural winner will receive monetary prizes. Prizes will be awarded to the winners at an SWCD event in the near future.
